If you’re a female and start your own clan, learn my lessons. You will hand pick and invite people you want to play with because you enjoy playing with them. Then there will be people who literally beg you to join and all because you’re a female gamer. These people look desperate, but that’s because they are. Seriously, I am not your mother and will never be your girlfriend and more than likely if I passed you in the street I would not even look twice; so you really need to get out more.

There will also be the people you once had as Xbox live friends who turn on you, all because people chose to play with you, or because you p3wn them in-game. I mean seriously, when all is said and done it’s a game people. Get over it, and yourselves while you’re at it. I know for me Live is something I do at the end of the day to have a bit of fun. If I don’t send you a message, don’t send me one, same goes for chat invites. And if I am playing a single player game, let me play it, don’t ask why I am not playing multiplayer, because the answer should be obvious. I don’t want to.

But I should also add that there are some advantages to being a female gamer. You will always get an invite to a game, and there are always some people who will always join your party, this can be a great thing on a weekend when you are struggling to find an Aussie COD4 room. I should also add that I have made some great gaming mates online; some that are definitely not WPS sufferers and make the Live experience fun again.
General tips for the female gamers out there:
- P3WN the guys you play against and teabag them when you get a chance– just like they would do to you and because it’s fun.
- Hide your friends list, so people can’t be all stalker like and by checking out who you are playing with.
- If you do start receiving messages all the time, stop the notifications and don’t reply. This works a treat!
- If it gets to the point you are not enjoying the online experience, hide your online status and only play with people you know don’t suffer from WPS.
- Stick to playing online with people that are fun and you will have fun.
