Xbox Live Crashes Down Under!

At approximately 10:05pm ADST on Thursday the 24th January, Australians were disconnected from xbox live. One user reported watching 100 people on his friends list all slowly disappear. Other subscribers reported their MTU failing, although they were all still connected to the internet. There are also posts in forums coming in that it was not just restricted to people playing COD4.

Personally I’m fed up with the service. I have 250+ members on my website that all have Xbox 360’s and there is a growing multitude who are trading them in for PS3’s and switching to the play station network. If it wasn’t enough that I sat there staring at my 360, unable to connect to live during my Christmas break, or seeing my friends banned for having “GO THE ALL BLACKS” in their gamertag sigs, now I’m spending my free time reconfiguring my router in the belief that it just magically changes it’s self?

This is out of control gamers. Nothing is worth all this hassle to play some friendly games with your mates after work. If you are not sending your 360 in for repair, you are unable to connect to live. What gives Microsoft? Do you hate your customers so much that you want us to go back to our roots and buy a PS3? Obviously the answer is yes.

BTW: The ALL BLACKS are a rugby team. What’s rugby you ask? No it’s not another racial slur, it’s like your football, except for men!
