Batty, Jezzman and I had cross-game chat working perfectly the other night on PSN. We did some co-op in Uncharted 2 and then in Red Dead Redemption. Skype rocks.

The sort of shitstorm that can somehow solve the problem of being able to retroactively support cross-game chat for games that already implemented their own online chat protocol.
e.g. CoD4 already has online chat built into their multiplayer component. If Sony introduces a universal cross-game chat feature, how do they retroactively disable CoD4's existing chat so that it won't conflict with the cross-game one?
M$ were smart in making it a standard from the word go - watch everyone else do the same in the next console generation.

I'll probably get it, my kids loved LBP when we hired it, so I effectively am just buying that on the cheap. The rest is stuff I don't have anyway, so there will be a couple of decent freebies in it for me.

Look, if Sony could actually do it - they would have. What I want to see is a date set and any games made after that date support cross game chat. Fuck the back catalog, fuck some dickhead who wants to play COD4, just start fixing it. There is still another 6 years of this generation for Sony, I would like to see some attempt made before I jump ship back to MS and the next shitbox, which by then will have some giant dildo that pops out and rapes your arse ensuring you really do get a red ring.

The issue I have with plus right now is the fact we don't get quore. It's made by Sony so there shouldn't be a major licence issue and we're paying the same amount as the U.S.
