120 gig Hard Drive on Sale Downunder
Aussies and Kiwis can upgrage... for a price!
30 May 2007
This one snuck up on us - Microsoft Australia and New Zealand are going to be dropping the 120GB hard drive on unsuspecting buyers from tomorrow onwards. According to Jason Hill of Screen Play, the new piece of kit won't come cheap, either.
The 120GB hard drive will retail for AU$229 and NZ$229, and apparently comes preloaded with 16GB worth of content. The unit also comes with a special transfer cable for bringing across saved data from your inferior 20GB hard drive.
There's still no sign of the Xbox 360 Elite, from which the larger hard drive originally hails. Similarly, there are still no firm plans for digital content distribution on the same scale as is currently available.
