Call of Duty 4 beta a massive success

If you were part of the many thousands of punters who were lucky enough to have spent the last few weeks of your life gaming inside the Call of Duty 4 modern Warfare beta, today was a finale worth witnessing. At approximately 5pm Australian Eastern Standard time there came a loud cheer as lobbies all around the world were shut down. Ask any gamer their opinion and they will confirm that the beta was a massive success. The weapon design, map terrain, graphics and of course the game play can’t be called anything less than perfect. Out of the hundreds of players I was privileged to speak with during matches I didn’t hear a single complaint. There is no doubt that when the final version is released on November the 6th (in the US) this game will do extremely well. Unlike Halo 3, Call of Duty 4 modern warfare has an adult feel to it. You need to use your mind to master a range of skills. This isn’t a run towards your opponent while shooting only to finish them off with a melee type game. There are refined strategies to be mastered and you can become proficient at such a wide range of fighting styles. The sad part is that we are going to have to wait another month to get our hands on this baby. As a gamer with over 20 years expertise I have never come across a gaming experience like this. Call of Duty 2 was well done, Call of Duty 3 found you wandering around looking for the enemy’s, while Call of Duty 4 mixes all the best aspects of the series into the ultimate online console FPS experience. As a gamer I would like to thank the creators of this game. They really have listened to what the gaming public have had to say with regards to feedback. For the first time I feel that a company has taken on board the needs of a gamers and created a magnificent work of art.

Expect Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare to receive 10 out of 10’s across the board when it comes out.

- A truly refreshing gaming experience.
