Here is a snippet of what Peter Moore had to say about the upcoming release.

"Halo 3 is much more than a video game release—it's the biggest entertainment event of the year," said Peter Moore, corporate vice president of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment Business. "On September 25, we intend to deliver a finale that will go down in entertainment history and leave people around the world with an experience that will be shared and enjoyed for years to come."

Just to remind the members of NextGEN, there will be 3 different versions of Halo 3 Shipping; the standard edition will retail at $99.95, the Collectors edition will be selling for $109.95 while the Legendary edition will be selling for $199.95, including a limited edition mounted Master Chief helmet, for all you die hard fans out there.

EB games are already taking pre-orders.
