A member over at the Infinity Ward forums has posted a thread regarding the latest Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare information in the upcoming Game Informer issue. Check it out:
- Release date is partly confirmed to November, 2007.
- Platforms, PC-PS3-Xbox360 are confirmed
- Photorealistic graphics
- Very short loading time
- Vehicles and helicopters are in single-player, nothing confirmed on multiplayer yet
- It will feature an experience system in multiplayer. By performing better, players will unlock new cosmetic additions like better weapons. Silencers for the pistols and C4 for vehicle kills are among those
- Airstrikes are in multiplayer
- Everything will be customizable in muliplayer (i.e. outfits)
- There is a heavy phsyics engine, you can blast buildings with tanks and take away a snipers nest (destructable environment)
As a final statement from the testers: "everything we saw look as epic and amazing than anything weve seen in video games to date."
