The NextGEN Gamers first meet went off without a hitch on Saturday. Seven members from all around Sydney (and a few international members on xbox live) met up to enjoy a BBQ, gaming and general comradery. People began arriving around midday and all got straight down to the business of drinking and friendly competition. There were round robins of DS comps, Mario Strikers, Bomberman live on the 360, Wii sports, and later on into the night COD 3 & Mario cart. Highlights of the meet: Aussie members chatting with Zhero & Gfunk, Swizz teaching us the art of tennis and Disco Stu showing us that we are all pissweak and shouldn't bowl. There were some hilarious moments later in the evening, especially once the "alcomohol" kicked in! Fuchal decided to make The Nords an achievement for his winning of the "uno cup". The Swizz stole one of my glasses, and we all couldn't help but laugh ourselves stupid about not being able to stick to the tracks in Mario cart.
For those of you members who couldn't make this meet an enjoyable time was had by all. That's a wrap!
* IMPORTANT UPDATE* After a lengthy interrogation, Lexx & Prince can now confirm that Swizz did indeed buy two xbox 360's!
